Eurocomp DPS – Desktop & Laptop Edition (D&L) is a secure, automated backup system that intelligently backups critical data to secure, fully mirrored, offsite storage platforms in separate locations, ensuring that data is safe, secure and is available anytime, anywhere via the WebAccess interface.

Eurocomp DPS D&L is available for the following operating systems:

• Byte-level patch incremental backups means only changed parts of files are backed up and not the whole file.
• All data is compressed in transit and storage, further minimising transfer times, network loads and storage requirements.
• Data can be recovered from any previously backed up state.
• Disconnections are resumed from the last byte sent – no need to resend partially transferred files.
• Advanced scheduling allows multiple backups per day.
• Status display shows optional progress bar for easy monitoring and estimates of backup completion time.

The user of the data to be protected simply selects the folders and files to be processed. The Eurocomp DPS software then scans those selections for changes (on the first run all the data is sent), compresses the changes and sends them via the Internet to the Primary Storage Location. The system can utilise fixed, broadband, WiFi or dial-up Internet connections to transmit these changes.
